We are excited for Nick Palmer, Kyle Barrie, and the Dominguez Lab for this recent publication in Nature: Mechanisms of actin filament severing and elongation by formins.
They  used cryo-EM to solve 7 structures of 2 formins, providing a step-by-step mechanism of actin severing and elongation.
